Johnny Ruffo’s family has released details about his public memorial service which will take place on Saturday.
A beaming photo of Johnny in a tuxedo was posted to Facebook on Monday, along with information about the memorial.
“Memorial service: Balcatta High School. November 25, Balcatta, Western Australia, 6021, 12:30 p.m.,” they wrote.
“Strictly no cameras or filming.”
Many of Johnny’s supporters were quick to express their sympathy upon hearing of his final goodbye.

“Heaven gained another angel,” one fan wrote while Ruffo’s Home and Away co-star Raechelle Banno posted a love heart emoji.
The actor and singer died peacefully with his family and beloved partner Tahnee by his side in a Sydney hospital, after a long battle with brain cancer.
“It is with heavy hearts that we had to say goodbye today to our beloved Johnny,” we read in a press release.

“Surrounded by his partner Tahnee and his family, Johnny left peacefully with the support of incredible nurses and doctors.
Ruffo was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017 after being hospitalized for painful migraines.
In August that year, he had emergency surgery and a 7cm brain tumor was surgically removed from his frontal lobe, before undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Ruffo went into remission months after his initial diagnosis in 2017, but revealed in November 2020 that the disease had returned.
In August 2022, he confirmed his brain cancer diagnosis was terminal and said he feared how his girlfriend Tahnee would fare once he was gone.
Ruffo marked another year of chemotherapy in December 2022 and revealed he was looking forward to taking a break and spending time with family over Christmas.
Born in the Perth suburb of Balcatta, Ruffo’s career in show business began when he successfully auditioned for the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011, and he went on to star in Home and Away.
