The group claims to have stolen names, addresses, contact details, credit card information, ticket orders, credit card details and fraud information.

If the information is breached, it could cause enormous problems for people caught in the attack, including financial fraud and identity theft.

The Department of the Interior is aware of the hack and is working with Ticketmaster to “understand the incident.”

Ticketmaster is a subsidiary of Live Nation and operates in 32 countries around the world.

Shiny Hunters is a group that has been responsible for high-profile data breaches and owns Breach Forums, a platform known for cybercrime activity, according to HackRead.com.

This is not the first time Australians have been affected by the group’s activities.

Almost 200,000 Pizza Hut Australia customers had their data leaked in September last year.

The FBI attempted to shut down the forum, but Shiny Hunters was able to claim the domain, evading law enforcement.

Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice filed an antitrust lawsuit to break up an alleged monopoly in the live music industry between concert promoter Live Nation Entertainment and Ticketmaster.

News Corp reported that the lawsuit claimed Live Nation abused its dominant market position to raise ticket fees, exclude competitors and limit options for fans, venues and artists.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland said Live Nation relied on illegal and anti-competitive conduct to exert its monopoly control over the live events industry in the United States at the expense of fans, artists, smaller promoters and venue operators.

“It’s time to disband Live Nation,” he said.

Daily Mail Australia has approached Ticketmaster for comment.
