A “desperate” sheriff’s deputy resigned after his porn career was exposed, but the struggling mother has gained plenty of support for her decision.
Shannon Lofland, a 21-year veteran of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado, decided to resign from her position Tuesday after the department learned of her second job, prompting them to open an internal investigation.
Lofland, 44, a driver’s training instructor for the sheriff’s office, decided to start acting in “mainstream” adult videos because she was “suffocating” trying to support her family on her salary alone.
