Dermot O’Leary wreaked havoc in a busy grocery store while filming scenes for a Saturday Night Takeaway prank.
The This Morning presenter, 49, was instructed to go through the store while Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly sent him instructions through earphones.
Dermot dropped goods on the floor and screamed at the top of his lungs to the horror of the other customers.
At one point, Ant and Dec instructed Dermot to knock over several cartons of eggs and then run away.
Reluctantly following orders, Dermot knocked down the eggs and shouted, “What show should I present?” The Egg Factor!’

He then started running and said, “Goodbye losers!” while shoppers stared in bewilderment.
Ant and Dec appeared on Friday’s episode of This Morning where they discussed the prank with Dermot.
Dermot said, “When you get a call to come down you have no idea (what to expect) and you read a script and it all makes no sense!”
Dec said, “We just finished watching your first performance – steals the show!”
Co-host Alison Hammond asked, “Are you pretending to be Dermot O’Leary?”
They all replied, “Yes!”
Ant smiled, ‘It was the role he was born to play!’
Dec added: ‘The premise (of the miniseries) is that the head of ITV has invited us to his mansion where we’re all at because he’s going to give one of us a big new show but one by one all the people in the running to be killed…so we must find out who the murderer is before they get to us!’

Alison also had a part in the show, where they would trick her into staying in a “haunted” hotel.
However, the plan went haywire when Alison arrived at the hotel and decided to leave before checking in.
Alison said: ‘In my defence, I had worked all day that day so I was tired and by the time I got to the hotel I just wanted to go to sleep – so if you had brought me in the morning it wouldn’t have happened ! But no, I was really scared.’
Dec later admitted, “It’s the closest thing to ever going wrong, ever…we had the whole hotel rigged, we had cameras hidden everywhere and we (thought) we’d get her in, check her in and we would move on.
‘But she steps into reception, looks around and says ‘it’s haunted’… we only moved the lights once and she said ‘I’m not staying here’ and got back in the car!’

Connie was only six years old when she entered the show in 2007 and reached the final, losing to winner Paul Potts.
Presenters Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston blindfolded Ant and Dec and told them someone they knew was in the studio, with the pair asking yes or no questions to guess their identities.
Dec asked, “Did we appear on television together?”
‘Yes,’ Connie replied, to which Ant asked, ‘Have you been on Britain’s Got Talent?’ to which Connie said yes again.
