A depraved transgender sexual predator was today jailed for 12 years after grooming, abducting and raping a 14-year-old girl in Knifepoint on her walk to school.
Oliver Smith, 21, pounced on the terrified lone teenager in her school uniform and put a box cutter blade on her as she walked through an area of nature.
In the 45-minute ordeal, the porn addict subjected her to ‘gratuitous threats of violence’ and forced her to a secluded woodland location where Smith raped her.
When the ‘scared’ and ‘sobbing’ schoolgirl tried to flee, Smith chased her and grabbed her mouth to cover her screams, threatening to stab her in the throat.
A court heard the pervert meticulously planned the attack by reaching into the woods, wearing gloves, washing the victim in a river afterwards, and had a “deeply disturbing” manifesto.
Nine months before the attack, Smith was convicted of voyeurism and having images of child abuse, but escaped jail.
After the horrific rape, he fled 600 miles away to Scotland but was unable to go further as the 21-year-old did not have his passport.
Today at Portsmouth Crown Court Smith, who the court heard uses they/them pronouns and suffers from ‘gender issues’, was jailed for 12 years as the schoolgirl’s parents looked on.

The court heard Smith raped the girl in Woodland by Bordon Inguriles in Bordon, Hants, on the morning of September 27 last year.
Home-schooled Smith, who lived with his grandmother in the city, was seen leaving home early in the morning, but not in his work clothes.
Prosecutor Simon Foster said Smith was waiting in the woods for 30 minutes before the girl arrived.
A week earlier, a walker had seen “a man standing there in a manner that frightened her.”
Foster said: ‘On any view the defendant was at the scene some time before she (the schoolgirl) entered the woods.
“He must have been waiting for her, she said she had seen someone like him standing in the woods on her walks to school, or he was waiting for someone like her.
‘She said he knew exactly where he was going as if it was planned before.
‘I was scared, panicking, hyperventilating and crying (during the attack). During this he wondered if he would see his family again.
The girl, in her police interview, said: ‘I went into the woods, this man approached me, I tried to move out of the way.
‘He took a box cutter out of his pocket and said ‘You’re coming with me’ and turned me around.
‘I said ‘what the hell are you doing?’ I’m a 14 year old girl, get off me.’
‘He put his hand over my mouth so I couldn’t scream anymore.
“He said if I tried to run or scream again, he would put this knife to your neck…he didn’t want to die.”
After the attack, Smith led the “distraught” girl through the woods and accompanied her to a nearby river and told her, “I’m going to wash you.”
They told him ‘you won’t die, I promise you’.

After washing the girl in the river, Smith allowed her to leave. She fled the woods, contacted her mother and was found “distraught” by a dog tagger.
Smith immediately took a train to London, then a train to Edinburgh.
From there, they traveled and were arrested in Mallaig, a town on the west coast of the Scottish highlands, almost 600 miles from the attack at Bordon.
Foster said Smith had left his passport at home and ‘one wonders’ how far they would have traveled if they had it.
A search of his home revealed that Smith had a ‘deeply disturbing’ manifesto planning an attack, describing considerations such as ‘disguise’ and ‘witnesses’.
The court heard Smith spent his time in online chat rooms, was ‘friendless’, had a ‘long-standing pornography addiction’ and watched ‘disturbing pornography’.
The girl’s parents, who attended court, said in their statement that her world has been “shattered beyond belief.”
“The damage this has caused our family is indescribable,” they said.
‘She was one of the kindest and gentlest souls. Now, she is a shell of her former self.
‘I used to be an outgoing, confident girl with a surprising sense of humour. All that changed and disappeared.
‘What we would do to see his infectious laugh again. His childhood has been torn away.
In mitigation, Rupert Hallowes said Smith suffers from “gender issues” and was suffering from a depressive episode at the time.
“This defendant is beginning to wake up to the impact his actions have on this family,” Hallowes said.
Smith ‘lacked maturity’ and is ‘very sorry’, he added.
Judge James Newton-Price KC jailed Smith for 12 years.
He said it was a “terrible, horrific and traumatic experience” and that he “paid tribute to the extraordinary courage” the girl showed.
“He was very vulnerable due to his age and should have expected to walk to school safely,” the judge said.
Judge Newton-Price KC marked Smith as a “danger to women.”
He said: ‘You demonstrated calculated and predatory behaviour, I’m sure you planned what you wanted to do that day.
“You were aware of the gloves and you made gloves and made her wash herself.
‘You were determined to have sexual intercourse, or other sex, with your victim and you were prepared to terrorize using a knife to force her to do what you wanted.
“It involved degradation and humiliation, it was a sustained incident, 45 minutes) and involved gratuitous threats of violence at knife point.”
Smith, who kept a blank face, admitted rape, attempted rape, false imprisonment, committing an offense with intent to commit a sexual offence, threatening another with a blade, false imprisonment, causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
The schoolgirl’s mother kept her eyes fixed on Smith throughout the hearing and her father cried as heartbreaking details were read.
