A grandmother was shot in the face after a gang of six criminals stormed her house on Wednesday night.
Sheryl Ann Hendy, 52, was shot once through the closed wooden front door of her unit in Morayfield, 44 km north of Brisbane, at about 10 p.m.
Police said they believed Mrs. Hendy was the victim of a false identity after the gang arrived in two vehicles at her home in Hargrave Street.

The woman's granddaughter was supposed to sleep in at the time, The courier mail reported.
