Matty appeared in high spirits as he and the band kicked off an impressive performance for the US talk show.
The Loose Women favorite also took over her Instagram to share insight into what was going on behind the scenes.
In one of the posts, Denise is shown hugging American actress Margaret Qualley, while her son Matty, record producer Jack Antonoff, designer Jamie Oborne and other friends were sitting at the same table.
She captioned: ‘Met Jack and Margaret! Fabulous, very fun night in NYC with @jackantonoff @trumanblack @jamieoborne @annaeacham @lincolntownley @sharp_stick #margaretqualley.’
The Coronation Street star shared another sweet snapshot of her doing a little dance along with songwriter and friend Jack Antonoff.
‘Of course, it was only a matter of time before @jackantonoff asked me for a boomerang. As you can see from his enthusiasm, he had been practicing for some time. To keep him happy before he went “to the studio,” I compelled him and he went away happy. Then we saw @the1975 do @nbcsnl so it was quite a night! she wrote.
Denise has shown herself to be a supportive mother before, having regularly attended the band’s concerts during the UK tour, including their sold-out gig at London’s O2 Arena.

Supporter: Denise has shown herself to be a supportive mother before, having regularly attended the band’s concerts during the UK tour, including their sold-out gig at the O2 Arena in London.
In the same concert the group welcomed a special surprise guest on stage at her concert, singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, winner of 11 Grammy Awards.
But Denise was every inch a proud mom, as she shared a sweet photo with Taylor Swift from backstage, after the singer made a surprise appearance on stage during the concert.
Denise couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she posed with the hitmaker, posting a photo on Instagram.
‘Oh what a night in a sold out 02. So proud I can’t even begin!’ Denise’s post was captioned.
Taylor surprised fans when she first played Anti-Hero during a surprise appearance at The 1975 concert in London.
Taylor and The 1975 have been friends for years, with the singer seen at their concerts and sharing producer Jack Antonoff.
It comes after Denise admitted that she asks all the girlfriends of her son, 1975 singer Matty Healy, if they would like to have children one day.
Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women on the subject of asking couples if they intend to have children, Denise said she likes to ask partners about their child and thinks it’s “critical”.

“If Matty had a steady girlfriend, I would like to ask her if she would be someone who wants to have a family,” he explained on the show.
She added: “Because I watch a lot of crap on reality TV, but one of the (similarities) is how many people on these shows (like 90 Day Fiancé and all this stuff that I love to watch) is they get married without really ensuring the conversation about having children. And it is essential.’
Most recently, the singer was said to be secretly dating a Canadian model and influencer, according to a new report last month.
Matty was said to have been seeing Charlotte Briar D’Alessio following her split from FKA Twigs earlier this year.
According Sunthe couple saw each other for several weeks, with the model often seen backstage during the band’s US tour.
A source told the publication: ‘Matty and Charlotte have been quietly dating for several weeks now and are head over heels in love.
“It’s early and they’re taking things slow, but it’s clear to everyone who knows Matty how interested he is in her.

Cheeky: Denise watched as she entertained the audience with a cheeky segment in which she smoked and ran her hands through her crotch.
“They’ve been very subtle about being seen together, but backstage at their concerts, Charlotte is usually there.”
Matt and FKA twigs called it quits after more than two years of dating in June of this year.
The pair reportedly called things off due to “work commitments” after the lockdown and the death throes of the coronavirus pandemic, including promoting and releasing a fifth album for The 1975.
Meanwhile, the musician is becoming increasingly known for his daring acts during his concerts.
Matty continued to cause a stir on Twitter last week, making out with fans and sucking their fingers during a concert in Brighton.
The singer also ended up trending on social media after he reached out to the crowd and French-kissed a fan during a song.
