Acclaimed photographer Ellen von Unwerth has unveiled a new exhibition featuring extremely provocative photographs of stars such as Rihanna, Kate Moss and Demi Moore posing nearly nude.
The German photographer, who has photographed for magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Playboy, ID and The Face, among others, over the years, presents the collection, called The provocateurat the Staley-Wise Gallery in New York City.
The sultry images, most of which have “never been seen before”, were taken throughout her decades-long career and show a host of famous faces flaunting their impressive figures.
One photograph, taken in 2014, shows Rihanna standing topless and wearing only white underwear while in the shower.

One photograph, taken in 2014, shows Rihanna standing topless and wearing only white underwear while in the shower.
In another snapshot, which was from 2004, model Elle Macpherson is seen sitting in the bathroom dressed only in her birthday suit.
Another image, dating from 1996, shows actress Demi, 61, lying on a couch in lingerie and fishnet stockings while a man places a mask on her face.
And one from 2005 shows Catwoman alum Zoë Kravitz leaning over a bowl wearing a black mask.
The singer, 36, keeps her underwear open and sprays water on her lower body while covering her chest with her arm.
In another, filmed in 1995, Kate, 50, appears seductively looking at the camera shirtless.
She has a towel wrapped around her waist and her hands placed on her breasts for modesty.
In a third snapshot, which was from 2004, model Elle Macpherson is seen sitting in the bathroom dressed only in her birthday suit.
The model, now 60, has her mouth open in shock and holds a roll of toilet paper to her chest.
Another image shows actress Demi, 61, lounging on a couch in lingerie and fishnet stockings while a man places a mask over her face in a snapshot taken in 1996.
And one from 2005 shows Catwoman alum Zoë Kravitz leaning over a bowl wearing a black mask.
Other stars featured in the alluring gallery include David Bowie, Karl Lagerfeld, Christy Turlington, Linda Evangelista and Cara Delevingne.

Another shot shows Cara Delevingne using a filter and making a face while taking a selfie.
And he continues: ‘These images from the exhibition reflect a provocateur who winks; not so much the object of lust but the playful instigator – both innocent and mischievous.’
“While eroticism is at the forefront of many of these images, fantasy and humor unite von Unwerth’s vision of his subjects simply having fun,” the description adds.
“The photographs reflect a liberated and irrepressible commitment to her subjects that the photographer has defended throughout her career,” reads a description.
‘These images from the exhibition reflect a provocative wink. Not so much the object of lust but the playful instigator, both innocent and mischievous.
“While eroticism is at the forefront of many of these images, fantasy and humor unite von Unwerth’s vision of his subjects simply having fun, with each other and with the viewer they tease, tease, and provoke.”
Other snapshots show several models dancing naked on a table and lifting their blouses to flaunt their breasts.

Ellen began her modeling career after she was discovered at age 20 while walking down a street in Germany. A shot of the new exhibit is seen.

“I know what it’s like to feel really uncomfortable, so I do everything in my power to make them feel comfortable and live and laugh and move,” Ellen said of the exhibit.
Ellen began her modeling career after she was discovered at age 20 while walking down a street in Germany.
She then shifted her focus to photography after a flourishing seven-year modeling career.
In 1989, he came into the spotlight after taking photographs of a young Claudia Schiffler.
In addition to fashion photo shoots and magazine covers, she has also done several album covers for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Dido, Britney Spears, Rihanna and Janet Jackson.
