Delta Goodrem brings Victoria’s Secret grandeur to Australian Fashion Week as she performs on the runway at the Manning Cartell show

Australian Fashion Week guests were almost convinced they were at a Victoria’s Secret show on Thursday when Delta Goodrem delivered a spectacular performance on the catwalk of Sydney’s Carriageworks.

Strolling the Manning Cartell catwalk, flanked by a parade of models, the 36-year-old released her new song The Power.

She looked sensational in a bright pink dress, which she paired with a gold chain and matching strappy heels.

As she sang on the runway, Delta gave front row fashionistas a glimpse of her toned legs thanks to the thigh split on the back of her dress.

Delta got a lot of sultry glances during her performance and worked the camera just as effectively as the models next to her.

The other women on stage all looked striking modeling outfits from Manning Cartell’s latest collection, but they were unable to top the Born to Try hitmaker.

Her latest LP, also known as Bridge Over Troubled Dreams, topped the ARIA charts.

Delta has previously admitted that she doesn’t always feel comfortable being in the spotlights of celebrities.

She said she respects reality stars who have turned their 15 minutes of fame into an income, but she has a different take on things.

“It was a different era to grow up. For some reason [becoming famous] was just part of my DNA,” she told the Daily Mail Australia last month.

‘If people would refer to me’ [as a celebrity]I was always like, “Well, I always thought of myself as, you know, I’m an artist, a musician and an actress.”

‘[Fame] was only part of the industry. I’ve always chosen something in between. There was another craft of my intent.’
