Delta Goodrem announces engagement to longtime boyfriend Matthew Copley while on vacation in Malta: ‘My best friend asked me to marry him’
Delta Goodrem is officially engaged to her longtime boyfriend and guitarist Matthew Copley.
The singer shared the news on Instagram on Thursday evening with a loved-up photo of the couple on holiday in Malta.
In the image, Delta is seen tenderly kissing Matthew in front of a stunning view of the sea, as the sun sets in the foreground.
She appears to be holding a celebratory glass of bubbles for the occasion.
“My best friend asked me to marry him,” she giddyly captioned the image, alongside a ring emoji.

Delta recently completed the European leg of their Hearts on the Run tour and enjoyed some downtime in Malta.
The blonde beauty has dated quite a few famous faces, from Nick Jonas and Brian McFadden to tennis great Mark Philippoussis.
But much less is known about the singer’s current boyfriend, Matthew Copley.
In 2018, she told InStyle Australia that she had made a “conscious decision” to keep her love life private going forward.
“I made the choice not to even comment ‘yes’ or ‘no’… I haven’t said anything for three or four years,” she said.
