Delivery giant Evri plans to hire 9,000 new employees just days after announcing new private equity owners.
The British parcel company is looking to expand its team of couriers and warehouse staff amid growing demand for its services.
It focuses on Scotland, Bury St Edmunds, Plymouth and Gatwick.

Last week it emerged that the company (formerly known as Hermes) had agreed to be bought by Apollo Global Management for £2.7bn from Advent International, another private equity group.
Martijn de Lange, CEO of Evri, said: “Winning new customers and increasing parcel volumes is testament to the trust customers have in our service and the biggest recruitment drive in history promises to deliver another record year.”
