The son of Colorado Buffaloes head football coach Deion Sanders and safety Shilo Sanders were taken to the hospital with an undisclosed injury following the team’s loss to the Oregon Ducks.
“I can’t say I didn’t play hard, I’m peeing blood now,” Shilo said YouTube outlet Well Off Media on Saturday night.
After being asked if he was okay, Shilo said, “No, I made a tackle and landed on my kidney or something, so I need to go to the ER and get checked out.”
Deion would eventually tell reporters that his son is ‘Do better.’
‘We went to the hospital immediately after landing. He’s doing much better. We pray he heals and he plays this weekend,” Sanders said. “He is a valuable part of our secondary and our team defensively.”

Deion Sanders —Shilo’s father and coach—said Shilo is “doing much better” before USC
“(Shilo’s) one of the voices on the defense and he plays with a certain physicality that we crave and that we want, and he gives me daily updates, believe me, and I pray that he can be both as a father and as a coach to play .’
Shilo had six tackles in Colorado’s 42-6 loss to Oregon and is the second player in two weeks the Buffaloes have hospitalized in two games.
During the Buffaloes game two weekends ago against Colorado State, two-way superstar Travis Hunter was sent to the hospital after a foul hit led to him suffering a lacerated liver.
Deion recently revealed that Hunter texted him and stated that he wouldn’t take no for an answer when it came to returning the court in Colorado’s upcoming game against the No. 8 USC Trojans, but the coach still said increasingly no as Hunter heals.
Before the game, Shilo was also seen on video talking to the Ducks and saying, “I will crush all of you and your coach.”
He was also seen saying to Oregon players, “Why are you so few?” We’re going to talk you all through.”
