The federal court defamation action brought by Erin Mullan against Daily Mail Australia has been settled after mediation
Defamation proceedings brought by Ms Irene Mullan against Daily Mail Australia have been settled after mediation.
In those proceedings, Daily Mail Australia alleged that Ms Mullan had engaged in racist behaviour, with Ms Mullan denying that she had engaged in any such behaviour.
Both parties are pleased with the resolution of the proceedings, which included each party paying their own costs, but which did not include Daily Mail Australia paying Ms Mullane any compensation.
