Victoria-based Deeds Brewing announced Tuesday night that it had made the “difficult decision” to close its doors.

“For the past 12 years, we’ve put our hearts into every drink, every interaction, and every moment shared with you,” the Deeds team wrote on Instagram.

‘Our hearts are broken.

“We will deeply miss our dedicated staff, who have become like family to us, and our incredible fans who have supported us through thick and thin over the years.”

As a result of the collapse, all 50 employees will be out of work.

The beer debuted as Quiet Deeds in 2012 amid the explosion of craft brewing in Australia, founded by university mates Patrick Alé and David Milstein.

Their brewery operations have expanded over the past decade to include an on-site taproom and kitchen.

It has won numerous awards for its beer varieties.

The brewery will remain open for the next few days, saying they will accept online orders and offer a 30 percent discount as they clear out the house.

“This will be your last chance to stock up on our beers and provide one last drink to Deeds Brewing,” the post reads.
