Foodies are flocking to Sydney’s west to discover a little-known restaurant that many consider a dupe of one of the city’s most popular restaurants, Totti’s.

In fact, some foodies claim the food is even better.

Miscellaneous. is located in Parramatta, in the Great Western suburb of Sydney, and offers diners a gourmet menu of delicious Italian dishes that rivals the famous Merivale institution.

Totti’s three locations at Bondi, Rozelle and George Street are Sydneysiders’ hippest casual spots – and now those in the western suburbs can get a taste of the action.

Miscellaneous. offers its own burrata, wood-fired bread, pasta and pizza, which many say rivals the cult favorite.

The luxury restaurant is one of Paramatta’s most popular lunch spots, but is now also open for dinner with a brand new modern Mediterranean-style menu.

Food bloggers Kate and Alex, known as Food Inbox, paid Miscellaneous. a visit and enjoy the $90 set menu featuring dishes including dips, olives, lamb shoulder, broccolini, charcuterie and fries.

“Located in the beautiful surroundings of Parramatta Park, this is definitely a place in the west for a lovely dinner or girls’ night out,” they wrote in an Instagram post.

“This menu is VALUE guys! We were completely drunk afterwards, you all know we have empty pits for stomachs.

Another guest called Misc. a “Totti dupe” and said they served the best burrata she had ever eaten.

“It was uniquely infused with linden leaf oil and was perfect with the tender wood-fired bread and savory prosciutto,” she said.

Other menu highlights include Sydney Oysters, Split and Roast Prawns, Village Tomatoes and Fried Zucchini Flowers.

The restaurant is housed in a beautifully restored hangar with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams over the curved stone bars and a 300-seat dining area.
