Deborah Hutton reveals the ‘hilarious’ fashion faux pas from her first television appearance in the ’80s that haunts her to this day










She has been a prominent figure on television and magazine covers since she was 16 years old.

And Deborah Hutton, 59, has revealed that her biggest fashion mistake came early in her career, in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald on Sunday.

“It was hilarious,” said the host of Find Me a Beach House, reflecting on her outfit during the 1988 Bicentennial Wool Collection fashion parade.

‘It was my first live television appearance,’ the blond beauty recalls of her performance alongside presenter Michael Parkinson at the Sydney Opera House event.

“I wore this screaming red satin Covers dress—off the shoulder, black lace bodice—with black long gloves and these ridiculous Yves Saint Laurent earrings that were the size of my hair,” Deborah laughed.

Later in the interview, Hutton revealed that she was “shocked” at her first modeling job at age 16.

Cosmopolitan’s fashion editor told the teen that she would not wear a bra under her jacket during the shoot.

“I look terrified on the cover of this jacket that shows my lack of breasts,” recalls Deborah.

The 59-year-old, who will turn 60 in December, thanks the elimination of alcohol and sugar because he recently lost six kilos.

“I’m turning 60 in December and it’s hilarious, but I’m feeling better than I’ve ever felt,” she said. Zodiac sign magazine this month.

“I’ve really focused on my health and I feel so much stronger. I’m not really counting calories, I just make sure I consume less,” she added.

‘I love to cook, so it’s very exciting to make beautiful meals with lots of vegetables and herbs. I drink a lot of water and then a few times a week shakes with all those good probiotics and stuff.’

The model has added an exercise bike to her routine, as well as walking and golf games.

She also takes melatonin to control her sleep and meditates to keep herself calm.

The TV star previously wrote to Milk Thistle that it gave her flawless, youthful skin.
