The death of a Lower East Side woman last summer was ruled a homicide, police said Friday.
Kathryn Marie Gallagher, 35, was found dead inside her apartment on Eldridge St. near Delancey St. around 8:50 p.m. July 24, police said.
Police responding to an emergency call found her lying in bed, unconscious, police said.
She died on the scene.
Earlier this week, eight months after her death, New York police detectives said Gallagher had been murdered.
It was not immediately disclosed how Gallagher died.
No arrests have been made.
