A dead baby was found Monday in the bathroom of a Manhattan restaurant.
The newborn’s body was discovered inside Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in the city’s financial district.
Police responded to the scene following a 911 call just before 10 a.m. EST, 30 minutes before the restaurant was supposed to open that day.

The baby or the age of the newborn is not yet clear.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
