David Tennant’s transition from Time Lord to landlord appears to have paid off, with his net worth now reaching more than £6m thanks to his lucrative property investments.
The latest accounts for the Doctor Who star’s company, Sandyboy Limited, show he currently has assets worth £3,795,982, including a £3m property investment portfolio.
But his financial success comes after he was branded a misogynist and bigot for saying at an awards ceremony that he wished former women and equalities minister Kemi Badenoch did not exist.
His company is believed to be named after his late father, Sandy McDonald, and was set up in 2005 when he was cast in Doctor Who.
He currently owes creditors just over £1.5m, leaving him worth £2,292,897.

No Mystery Limited is the 53-year-old’s second company and, according to Company’s House, has £3,791,920 in the bank after paying creditors – an increase of more than £500,000 on the previous year’s figure.
Tennant currently lives in a £2.6m home in the affluent area of Chiswick, west London, with his 39-year-old wife and Doctor Who co-star Georgia and their five children.
In 2019, he won planning permission and was allowed to build a 16-metre swimming pool that included a changing room, outdoor toilet and gym.
Last month, the Des star came under fire, led by Badenoch, for controversial comments he made about her while accepting an award for being a “celebrity ally” at the British LGBT Awards.
He said: “Until we wake up and Kemi Badenoch is no more…” He paused as the audience cheered and applauded, then added: “I don’t wish her any harm, I just wish her to shut up.”
Badenoch, who has spearheaded a government push to protect women’s rights and stop teenagers being given puberty-blocking drugs, responded on social media: “I will not be silent.”

‘A wealthy, left-wing, white male celebrity so blinded by ideology that he cannot see the consequences of attacking the only black woman in government by publicly calling for her to end my existence.’

Tennant, pictured filming a Doctor Who 60th anniversary special in 2022, played the Time Lord from 2005 to 2010.
Keir Starmer later distanced himself from the Scottish actor, who is a staunch Labour supporter, following his comments, saying he “would not have engaged” in the row in the same way.
