Billionaire media mogul and philanthropist David Geffen was spotted at a heliport in New York City wearing a band around that finger for the first time on Monday.
The CEO, 80, is rumored to be worth a fabulous $9 billion and tied the knot with 30-year-old beau Donovan Michaels in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills last month.
Even though Geffen and Michaels have publicly confirmed marriage, the couple landed in the Big Apple together in a cozy spring and it looks like they’re ready to spend some time together.
The couple arrived with an entourage of several people, including the former head of the David Geffen Company, Eric Eisner, and his wife, Lisa Eisner.
Geffen wore a white double-stripe hat, a light flannel jacket, dark pants and trainers, and of course, a standout band on his ring finger.
Billionaire media mogul and philanthropist David Geffen was seen leaving a New York City heliport on Monday, wearing a band on his finger after his rumored nuptials last month.

Donovan Michaels, 30, was also seen leaving the helipad. It wasn’t clear if he was wearing a gold band to match Geffen
Michaels wore a black Yankees cap, dark glasses, and an all-black ensemble that included adidas track pants and a new pair of Nike Air Force Ones. He also carried what appeared to be a white shopping bag.
In December, Geffen shared a photo of him and Michaels on a boat and captioned it, “Really happy birthday!” But it was deleted after several hours.
Since then, the mogul’s social media has gone private.
When knowz.com reported the nuptials rumors last month, a source was quoted as saying that “David has loved Donovan for a while, and they’ve been talking about taking the next step together.”
“David has waited a long time to find the right partner, and Donovan is definitely the one,” the source added.
The wedding was allegedly a small ceremony in Beverly Hills, with only two other couples in attendance – a contrast to the lavish and expensive ceremonies thrown by Hollywood’s elite.
“David and Donovan chose a simple yet special ceremony to celebrate their wedding, surrounded by family and close friends,” said the source.
Not much is known about Michaels, who is often referred to as a supermodel, but he hasn’t posted on Instagram since 2018.
Geffen came out as gay in 1992 after years of being linked to a string of well-known women, including Cher.
Earlier in his career, Geffen founded Asylum Records, which signed such musical sensations as Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan and the Eagles. He later founded Geffen Records, which has gone on to release acts from artists including Elton John, Cher, Aerosmith, Blink-182, Guns N’ Roses, and Nirvana.
Along with Jeffrey Katzenberg and Steven Spielberg, Geffen co-founded DreamWorks in the 1990s.

As a philanthropist, Geffen has donated at least hundreds of millions, if not more over the years to various causes and foundations.
In 2002, he gave $200 million to the UCLA School of Medicine, and donated another $100 million to the school in 2012.
In 2015, he pledged $100 million for the renovation that is taking place at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York.
In June of 2021, Geffen provided $10 million to the Yale School of Drama, allowing the institution to waive tuition for all students enrolled in graduate programs.
And in September of 2021, he donated $75 million to Columbia Business School for the school’s new facilities in Manhattanville.
