The couple, who are parents to Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11, married in Ireland in 1999 and have lived their lives together in the spotlight.
Last year, they revealed that naysayers abounded, with Victoria saying: “They say it’s not funny, they say I never smile, they said it wouldn’t last… Today we celebrate 23 years of marriage.” David, you are my everything, I love you very much!”
In 2017, Victoria wrote a letter to herself when she was 18 years old to Fashion, which offers marriage advice. She wrote: ‘In marriage: be patient. Bite your tongue. Be supportive. And preserve a bit of mystique. Never get completely carried away.
The Beckhams were married in a spectacular £800,000 ceremony in which they both wore daring ensembles. Images from the big day featured in an OK! Propagation and cover.

Their highly anticipated wedding ceremony on July 4 was complete with golden thrones and a sparkling tiara for the bride.

While no expense was spared for the nuptials, led by Bishop of Cork Paul Colton, the day was also filled with heartwarming and heartfelt moments, including four-month-old Brooklyn as ring bearer.
The power couple hired Bentley’s Entertainments, organizers of Elton John’s birthday and Princess Anne’s 40th birthday, to host the highly publicized showbiz event.
Its quaint Irish headquarters sat on 560 acres and dated back to the 18th century, with organist Peregrine Armstrong-Jones saying OK! how ‘Victoria wanted somewhere really private and unique, somewhere lush and green.’
He had hired Simon Lycett, who worked on the 1990s romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral, to prepare the flower arrangements, using fresh apples that had been pierced and scattered throughout the castle to release the scent of the fruit.
With David sporting a £230,000 Bentley Azure with a cream suit designed by Timothy Everett, Victoria donned a Vera Wang gown as she rode in style in a Bentley Arnage.
She turned heads with a gold and diamond crown, which was custom-made by Slim Barrett, who had previously designed accessories for Princess Diana.

Despite the nuptials being covered as part of the magazine’s lucrative deal, Victoria insisted last year that the wedding wasn’t as fancy as it seemed.
Speaking to The Business of Fashion as part of the BoF VOICES 2022 event, she said of her big day: “I think the media glamorized the wedding much more than it actually was… [It was] actually much more intimate than it seemed.
She added: ‘I love to have fun. I work very very hard. I take what I do very seriously. I want to be a great wife, a great mother, but I also want to have fun…
“Sometimes my wry sense of humor tends to get me into trouble, but the wedding wasn’t as big as everyone made it out to be. [to be].’
