David Beckham looked smart as he was seen narrowly avoiding a parking fine in central Manchester on Monday.
The former footballer, 49, was seen leaving Gary Neville’s Stock Exchange hotel alongside his mother Sandra and father Ted in his £600,000 black-badged Rolls Royce Cullinan which he had parked on the double yellow lines.
However, it appears the sports star managed to avoid a parking fine as he showed his parents the VIP treatment as they left the five-star hotel.
David wrapped up in a stylish navy winter coat after spending the day in Manchester to attend the funeral of beloved former Manchester United receptionist Kath Phipps.
He was joined by Sir Alex Ferguson, Ruben Amorim and their team as they headed to the service at Manchester Cathedral to pay their respects.
Phipps worked for United for 56 years and was described as a “one-woman institution” when the club announced her death aged 85 on December 5.

Tributes poured in for Phipps at the time and it emerged that countless members of her ‘Manchester United family’ had visited her in the weeks before her death, including Sir Alex Ferguson.
Meanwhile, on Monday, David’s youngest son Cruz poked fun at being a nepo baby in a cheerful Instagram snap.
Cruz, 19, couldn’t help but make fun of one of the episodes of The Office, which was titled ‘Nepotism.’
Kicking off the series’ seventh season, Cruz shared a snapshot of the title and joked, “This episode is right up my alley.”
Posh and Becks’ children have been the subject of accusations of nepotism due to the brilliant careers of their famous parents.
In addition to Cruz, they share Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, and their daughter Harper, 13.
Last year, Cruz seemed to have been particularly irritated by the latest accusations of nepotism leveled at him, responding with the bizarre statement that “Jesus is a nepo baby too.”
The outburst came after he released a teaser video for his new Beatles-inspired song For Ya Love on social media on Christmas Day.

“Not bad,” wrote one reviewer. “I bet he had a lot of money and training.” The musician quickly responded: “Not at all.” Just a guitar.
When the taunts continued, Cruz came out with his Jesus comment but deleted the post less than 12 hours later.
Cruz, who is dating his girlfriend, Brazilian-German songwriter Jackie Apostel, 29, changed his musical direction from TaP, which works with the likes of Dua Lipa and Ellie Goulding, to guitar-led group C3, based in Los Angels.
Having worked with bands such as The Strokes, C3 is a key signing for the young singer and guitarist.
Last year, the teenager worked with songwriter Ed Drewett, who has four number one hits to his name, including Little Mix’s Black Magic and The Wanted’s All Time Low.
Cruz has also worked with producer Fred Ball, known for his success with big names like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran.
Accusations of privilege have also dogged his brothers throughout their various endeavors.
