David Beckham is interested in signing Raphael Varane at Inter Miami this summer after the defender’s departure from Manchester United, according to reports.
Varane, 31, left Old Trafford after his contract expired at the end of the season and remains a free agent as several clubs evaluate a transfer for him.
According MirrorThe centre-back has been approached about the possibility of joining Inter Miami, where he would join both Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez.
Barcelona greats Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba are also at Chase Stadium, having been lured to the United States to join Beckham’s star-studded franchise.
Varane moved to United from Real Madrid in July 2021 for an initial fee of £34m and made 93 appearances, but left amicably after a series of injuries.

Beckham is said to be hoping to add Varane to his team of superstars at the Florida club.
He is said to have cost the Red Devils £85m in transfers and wages over his three campaigns, in which he made just 68 Premier League appearances.
But despite this, Beckham is said to be willing to give the former France international another sizeable payday as he bids to raise the profile of his Florida-based club.
Inter Miami tops the MLS table after 20 games and could land Varane outside the transfer window, which is open from July 18 to August 14.
Varane proved to be a popular figure during his time at United and won the Carabao Cup in 2023 before lifting the FA Cup in his final appearance for the club last season.
Before the 2-1 victory against Manchester City at Wembley, he had confirmed his departure in an emotional video message recorded for his fans.
If Varane joined, he would play alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Varane suffered an injury at United but won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
“It’s been an incredible few years playing for this special club and wearing that shirt,” Varane said. “The first time I went to Old Trafford as a Manchester United player it was crazy, the atmosphere was incredible.
‘When fans go to Wembley it is something they remember for life. Sharing that moment with them (winning the Carabao Cup) was absolutely incredible.
‘Even though we have had a difficult season, I am very positive for the future.
‘The new owners come with a clear plan and a great strategy. “See you at Old Trafford to say goodbye to the last home game this season (against Newcastle) and it will surely be a very emotional day for me.”
Varane spent 10 years at Real Madrid, where he won three Leagues, three Champions Leagues, three Spanish Super Cups and the Copa del Rey.
