David Beckham was in high spirits on Saturday as he made a cheeky joke about his vegetables while giving fans a glimpse of his garden.
Taking to Instagram, the green-fingered 49-year-old footballer happily showed off his collection of home-grown produce as he strolled through the extensive vegetable gardens at his Cotswolds home.
At one point, the star held up a massive courgette, and David couldn’t resist commenting on its eyebrow-raising shape, saying: “Fold it like Beckham,” alongside a laughing emoji.
The star shared a photo of an equally large courgette as he joked to wife Victoria Beckham, 50, that “I can feel some soup coming on tonight.”
In addition to showing off his impressive cucurbits, David happily showed fans the rest of the fruits of his labor during the tour.

He said he also had “a lot of potatoes” and was planning to make chips with them.
Dressed in a green and blue checked shirt and a Baker Boy cap, the sportsman gave a look at the berry patch he was “still working on” as well as the growth of his sage and olives.
In addition to his fruits and vegetables, David also filmed footage of his chickens and hens, as well as his beehives.
Comparing himself to TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh, David told the camera: “Morning update from Mr Titchmarsh then!”
Captioning his post, he also noted that his fellow End End members would no doubt mock him for “changing” after he swapped his motorcycle posts for gardening content.
He shared: ‘My Kale is fine. I can hear my East End friends saying ‘He’s changed’. My wife said to shorten the video but obviously she didn’t listen so I’m sorry…
‘My content used to be motorbikes and camping, now it’s kale, honey and flowers for the house. I might have to get back on the road soon. @victoriabeckham you’re welcome for the flowers for the house.’
