David and Victoria Beckham might have hoped their £10million Cotswold retreat would provide them with some peace of mind, but it didn’t.
It is under the flight path of Enstone Aerodrome and is frequently traveled by small aircraft.
“There is a constant sound of airplanes,” says one local. ‘Pilots are ordered not to pass low over residential properties, but must approach Beckham Square. I imagine it bothers them.
Last Saturday alone, in one hour, eight planes flew over the house.

Over the years, and more frequently in recent times, David has shared with his family fragments of what he does in his rural home, after his retirement from football more than a decade ago.
In 2016, the family bought their converted barn in the Cotswolds, which has become a hub for the sporting icon’s new projects.
David collected his first egg from his chickens in March, after traveling to check on his flock.
She later took to Instagram to share the moment she found her first egg after spending hours researching the best way to cheer up her chickens.
“I’ve come to check for eggs because I haven’t actually been here to see and witness the first egg, so I’m back and let’s take a look,” he told his followers.
‘They were placed on top, I did a bit of research and changed a few things, guess what? “This is the first time they have set up there, which is very exciting.”
In another video he shared to update fans on the new additions, the retired footballer was followed by a small flock of chickens and game birds as he showed off some of the carefully laid out land surrounding the farm.
David and Victoria are believed to be in negotiations to spend money on the huge nine-bedroom property, in a bid to stay close to David’s team, Inter Miami.
Built in 2018, the spacious property boasts a variety of impressive features, including plenty of bedrooms, four half-bathrooms, and a chef’s kitchen.
David and Victoria can also enjoy their own private cinema, gym, spa and swimming pool.
Over the years, and more frequently recently, David has shared with his family snippets of what he does at his rural home, including taking care of the chickens.
