Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy launched a furious tirade against George Clooney on Wednesday after the Hollywood actor did a 180 on Joe Biden and called on him to drop out of the presidential race.
From Clooney Opinion piece in the New York Times shocked the world when he called on Biden, 81, to resign just three weeks after hosting a record-breaking $28 million fundraising event for the president on June 16.
Portnoy was quick to weigh in on the incredible turn of events, turning to X to give his scathing opinion.
“What a fucking hero this guy is,” she says of Clooney, who claimed in her piece that the president “wasn’t the ‘big deal’ Joe Biden of 2010” when they met last month.
“So what, George?” Portnoy continued. “If I wasn’t going to participate in the debate and I wasn’t a vegetable, were you going to just keep quiet?”

‘And by the way, if you just found out Biden is a vegetable, where have you been for two years? Everyone knows he’s a vegetable.
‘The guy can’t get on and off a stage without getting lost, he talks about dead people like he had lunch with them yesterday. He can’t ride a bike without falling over. He can’t get on and off fucking Air Force One without doing a flip.
“Don’t fuck with me, he’s a vegetable. He’s been a vegetable for two fucking years, the Democrats don’t care.”
In the clip, Portnoy goes on to speculate about “dirty politics” and his belief that Democrats are trying to “beat up” Biden.
“They’ve got the hot California boy Gavin Newsom waiting for them,” he continues, before adding: “Fuck it, let’s let Trump run against a head of lettuce. Honestly, the votes will probably be the same!”

In his Wednesday op-ed, Hollywood megastar Clooney said Biden cannot win the “battle against time” and He condemned Democratic Party leaders for ignoring “every warning sign” of Biden’s deteriorating physical and mental health.
He added that Democratic voters “collectively hold our breath or turn down the volume every time we see the president, whom we respect, step off Air Force One or return to a microphone to answer an unscripted question.”
Clooney joins dozens of Democrats and Biden allies who have called for the president to resign in the two weeks since his rambling, mumbling appearance on CNN.
Biden has insisted he is not going anywhere and will still beat Trump in November, but Clooney’s comments are a huge blow to his struggling campaign.
