Kamala Harris

Barstool Sports boss Dave Portnoy revealed that he turned down a request from Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign to appear on one of the media company’s popular podcast shows.

Portnoy claimed that the Democratic candidate, who recently appeared on Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy,’ asked to appear on three of Barstool’s podcasts, including ‘BFFs,’ ‘Jack Mac,’ and ‘Pardon My Take.’

However, the 47-year-old confessed during an appearance on The Unnamed Show that he couldn’t remember if he even responded to the vice president’s team.

The American businessman has openly expressed his opposition to Harris on social media and has supported Trump’s candidacy for the White House since his preferred candidate, Nikki Haley, dropped out of the Republican primary.

But he admitted he would also reject applications from Harris’ rival to the White House.

“They reached out, who knows if they would have investigated it,” Portnoy said, referring to Harris’ camp.

“They asked to do BFF, Jack Mac, which is crazy, and PMT (Pardon My Take),” he continued, listing three of Barstool’s best shows. “I don’t even know if I responded to them.”

However, Portnoy later admits that he was aware that Pardon had rejected My Take and that he had rejected the offer on behalf of BFFs, the podcast he hosts alongside Brianna LaPaglia, popularly known as Brianna Chickenfry, and TikTok influencer Josh Richards.

“I don’t think he wanted to do it in the first place,” Portnoy explained. “Secondly, if I were going to do it, I wouldn’t do it with other people because my opinions on politics are not theirs.”

“My problem with Trump or Kamala,” he continued, making a conscious effort to correct the pronunciation of Harris’ name, “is that if you ask people things and they answer you and you don’t know if the answers are true or not and you don’t have enough information to reject it, I don’t like that.

‘I’m just not deep enough and you don’t know what to believe. I don’t want to be lied to and I don’t have any ammunition.

BFFs, which covers all things pop culture, has 576,000 subscribers on YouTube, while the sports show Pardon My Take has 577,000.

Meanwhile, Jack Mac is a college football and gambling blogger and social media intern at Barstool, who has over 1 million followers across all social media platforms.

Last week, Portnoy launched a blistering attack on Harris in a six-minute rant over what he characterized as the “gaslighting” of her record.

In an online rant, during which she warned listeners about celebrity endorsements, Portnoy told her 3.2 million followers that she is “the worst candidate to ever run for president.”

Portnoy began by apologizing for going on a political rant, explaining that he tries “not to” but that he “reached the boiling point” after listening to some of Harris’ recent interviews.

“And it’s the deception that the left is doing with Kamala Harris, making her look like she’s a great groundbreaking candidate,” Portnoy said.

As Portnoy sees it, the Democratic candidate is trying to define herself as a candidate for change, while insisting that she agrees with President Joe Biden’s decisions since 2020.

“This is the sitting vice president of the United States saying that she is the candidate for change,” he said.

Portnoy then outlined the problems facing the United States, many of which he blames on the Biden-Harris administration.

“On the world stage, Afghanistan was a disaster, the Middle East is basically on fire,” he said.

“Then at home, inflation is out of control, people are burning American flags in the streets, defunding the police, law and order doesn’t seem to matter anymore, there’s the border.

“So many problems.”

As Portnoy sees it, there will only be two voters in 2024: those who hate Trump and those who love him.

Those who hate Trump, Portnoy explained, would vote for “a potato or a lettuce or whatever.”

Harris, he claimed, is irrelevant in the eyes of voters and used her decision to drop out of the 2020 primary as evidence.

“There’s a reason he ran for president last time,” he said. “She didn’t get a single vote. He dropped out of school before primary school.

Harris’ interview on ‘Call Her Daddy’ was criticized by some viewers for its ‘softball’ questioning

Harris has attempted to appeal to the younger demographic of the electorate by appearing on mainstream podcasts as the race to the White House has intensified in recent weeks.

The vice president sat down to listen to popular podcaster Alex Cooper’s ‘Call Her Daddy’ last month, prompting a strong reaction from her listeners toward the 30-year-old media personality.

Some viewers criticized the interview for its “softball” questioning and lack of focus on two issues on which Harris is apparently weak: the war in Gaza and the federal government’s response to Hurricane Helene.

Meanwhile, Harris also discussed marijuana and racial identity on ‘All The Smoke,’ the podcast hosted by former NBA stars Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson.
