Dave Portnoy has insisted “evil” Donald Trump will easily win this year’s presidential election after surviving an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The former president and Republican candidate was quickly removed from the stage by Secret Service agents during a campaign rally in Butler after gunshots were heard in the crowd.
Trump, who had blood on his face as he stood up while surrounded by Secret Service agents, later said in a statement that a bullet “went through” part of his ear.
One person in the crowd was killed and two others were seriously injured after a gunman fired “several shots.” The suspected gunman was also dramatically killed by Secret Service snipers.
The Secret Service said the suspected shooter fired from “an elevated position outside the rally site” and that the FBI has taken over the investigation.

Portnoy was adamant that Trump will return to the White House after surviving the shooting
Portnoy revealed he was on a flight when the incident occurred but, when he landed, insisted Trump would now easily win over rival Joe Biden.
The Barstool Sports boss posted on X: ‘Just landed and missed a date attempt. Shit. What a bad reaction from Trump. The election is over. He’s the next president. Democrats should give up. They can’t beat him now.’
“We can also put aside the hatred on both sides. This country is tearing itself apart. Let the voters decide. Just because you vote for one side or the other doesn’t make you Satan.”
Portnoy also posted a photo of Trump standing with his fist raised moments after the shooting. He wrote: “The election is over.”
He also criticized Biden for the length of time it took the president to comment on the situation.
Portnoy continued: “How is it possible that the President of the United States hasn’t said a word in over an hour when a former President and current Republican nominee just survived an assassination attempt? WHERE IS @JoeBiden?”
This comes after Portnoy attacked George Clooney in an expletive-filled rant this week for “just taking down the president and being in a vegetative state.”
Portnoy insisted the election was “over” after he heard the news of the assassination attempt.

On Saturday night, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that he had been shot “with a bullet that went through the top of my right ear.”
“I knew right away something was wrong because I heard a whistling sound, gunshots and I felt the bullet go through my skin,” he said. “There was a lot of bleeding so I realized what was happening.”
Trump thanked the Secret Service and other authorities for their “quick response” and extended his condolences “to the family of the person who was at the protest who was killed and also to the family of another person who was seriously injured.”
“It is incredible that such an act could happen in our country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is already dead,” he said.
When he finally made a statement, Biden said “everyone should condemn” the incident and said he looked forward to speaking with his 2024 presidential rival soon.
Addressing the nation roughly two hours after the shooting, Biden said he was relieved that the former president was reportedly “doing OK” and the White House confirmed that the presidential rivals have spoken.
Portnoy harshly criticized Joe Biden for the president’s delay in responding to the incident.
“We cannot allow this to happen,” he said. “The idea that there is violence like this in the United States is unheard of.”
Trump was showing a graph showing border crossing numbers when explosions began to ring out.
The former president could be seen bringing his right hand to his neck and there appeared to be blood on his face.
He quickly ducked as officers from his protective team rushed the stage and screams could be heard from the crowd. The blows continued as officers treated him.
The crowd cheered as he stood up and pumped his fist before he was led to his motorcade leaving the venue.
Police began clearing the Butler area shortly after Trump left the stage.
Barack Obama said in a statement: ‘There is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy.
“We should all be relieved that former President Trump was not seriously injured and use this moment to renew our commitment to civility and respect in our politics.”
