Dave Portnoy has made $1 million from Donald Trump’s new cryptocurrency – and put his winnings on a huge Buffalo Bills bet.

Trump’s new “$TRUMP” coin, which launched Friday evening, cost Portnoy $24.80 per share when he bought $500,000 worth of crypto.

And early on Sunday, the Barstool Sports boss revealed that he had already profited $1 million from the transaction.

‘I just woke up. Controlled $trump coin. I’m up 200% since I bought it yesterday,” he says wrote on X. ‘Sold. Quickly made a milly. I’m probably going to put it on the Bills tonight. I love Trump’s America! Now I’m going back to sleep.’

In a subsequent video, Portnoy revealed that he was actually betting on the Bills to go the distance and win the Super Bowl at odds of +550, which would earn him $5.5 million if he were successful.

He claimed that Josh Allen and Co. “ready” to win the franchise’s first championship, which would put them past the Ravens in the divisional round.

In addition, the Chiefs await Baltimore or Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game, while the Commanders or Eagles will represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

Trump, who will be sworn in for the second time on Monday, aannounced its ‘memecoin’ on Friday evening to his X followers.

“My NEW official Trump meme is HERE! It’s time to celebrate everything we stand for: WINNING!,” he wrote.

“Join my very special Trump community,” he wrote on X. “GET YOUR $TRUMP NOW. GO to gettrumpmemes.com — Have fun!”

On Saturday, Portnoy was one of many NFL fans outraged by the referee in the Chiefs-Texans game when he accused the referees of “cheating.”

“The good news is the Texans are dominating and their defense is flying around. The bad news is that the referees cheat and lose,” he wrote on X.

Portnoy’s post came after a controversial decision to appoint Will Anderson Jr. of Houston for roughing the passer after hitting Patrick Mahomes a split second after throwing a pass in the first half.

The Chiefs won quite comfortably as they posted a 23-14 victory to reach their seventh consecutive AFC Championship Game.
