2Day FM breakfast star Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes engages buyers agent as he continues to hunt for a Sydney house after fleeing Melbourne amid Covid lockdowns

He moved from Melbourne to Sydney in January.

But Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes still appears to be on the hunt for a permanent NSW home, according to an image Sydney buyer Jack Henderson shared last week.

In the Instagram post, the owner of Henderson Advocacy posed for a selfie with the 50-year-old 2Day FM breakfast host, who he said would “learn a thing or two about real estate.”

The comedian, wife Holly Ife and their three children are ‘expecting the move by Easter’ according to realestate.com.au.

He recruited Henderson four weeks ago to help with the search.

“I’ve always wanted to live in Sydney and to be able to work and live there will be an absolute treat,” he said media week at the beginning of the year.

The last house Hughes bought was a cottage in Elsternwick renovated by Josh Barker and model Elyse Knowles.
