Dave Grohl is doing everything he can to remedy his long road to ruin; The rock star is reportedly trying to win back his wife Jordyn Blum after he cheated on her and fathered a child with another woman.
The Foo Fighters frontman, 55, shocked fans when he announced his infidelity in an explosive statement posted to his Instagram last month.
His decision to confess was allegedly a “last attempt” to repair his 21-year marriage to Blum, 48, with whom he has three daughters, after she gave him an ultimatum.
Grohl is now desperately trying to “divert his attention” and “be there for Jordyn in the day-to-day things that she wants.”
“He believes the marriage can be saved, so why not try to fix it?” an exclusive source told DailyMail.com.

They said Blum, who admitted not feeling like he hadn’t been her ‘number one’ in years, gave the rocker one last chance to try to repair their relationship.
“She gave him an ultimatum to resolve it and he wants to regain her trust,” the source continued.
“He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance to get back to what they had.” Dave is focusing on their needs.’
The source added that Grohl initially decided to reveal his extramarital relationship, with the intention of staying with Blum.
“Revealing (their affair and baby) in the first place was her last ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew long before the world found out,” they explained.
“I’d rather stay married.”
Blum reportedly asked her musician husband to take a break from recording new music and touring so she could focus on her personal life.
Foo Fighters canceled their performance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, last weekend in the wake of the scandal.
On Tuesday, Grohl, 55, was spotted without his wedding ring during a solo outing in Encino, nearly a month after he first revealed his affair.
The source said the musician is looking to “divert his attention” to ensure all his attention is on Blum, 48.
“Revealing (their affair and baby) in the first place was her last-ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew long before the world found out,” a source told DailyMail.com.
“He can always do it again if they improve,” the source said. “She hasn’t felt like number one in a long time.”
Grohl announced in a statement on September 10 that he had welcomed a daughter and vowed to try to “regain (the) trust” of his wife and three daughters.
“I recently became a father to a new daughter, born out of my marriage,” Grohl announced to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram. ‘I plan to be a loving and understanding father to her.
‘I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. “We are grateful for your consideration of all the children involved as we move forward together.”
