Dave Chappelle claims that celebrity guests partying all night at a Barack Obama farewell event were behind the “ dirty ” notes the Trump administration found all over the White House.

The 47-year-old comedian appeared on supermodel Naomi Campbell’s show, ‘No Filter with Naomi,’ where he said he saw celebrities putting firsthand notes in drawers and closets at the former president’s farewell party.

Chapelle did not specify when the farewell party was to be held, but many celebrities attended a rally on January 6, 2017, two weeks before the inauguration.

Remember when the Trump administration moved in, they said, ‘Obama’s staff left us dirty notes,’ he said.

‘I saw this happen. I’m not going to say who did it, but it was celebrities who wrote all these crazy stuff and put them all there. And I saw them do it when I saw that I was laughing really hard on the news. ‘

Dave Chappelle told Naomi Campbell that he saw celebrities taking notes in White House offices during President Obama's last White House party.

Chapelle added, “It was one of the last big parties the Obamas hosted and I’m not going to name those celebrities … There was one thing.”

Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a 2019 radio interview that Obama aides left nasty notes along with Obama books in every office.

“We entered the White House, I’ll tell you something. Every office was filled with Obama books and we left notes saying ‘you will fail’, ‘you are not going to make it.’

Grisham later came back to her claim, saying the notes were left only in the press office.

“I certainly didn’t mean that every office had that problem. I even left a nice note for me in the east wing, and I tracked down the woman and thanked her. I was specifically talking about our experience in the lower news agency – nowhere else. I don’t know why everyone is so sensitive! ‘

Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice called the allegation a “bare lie.”

But now Chapelle seems to support the claim that nasty notes have been left in the White House and is blaming celebrities.

While he did not reveal who wrote the notes or specify which party the night in question was, Obama’s final farewell party was notably attended by several A-listers, including Chappelle.

Several stars who have spoken out publicly against former President Donald Trump attended the latest White House party on Jan. 6, 2017, according to social media reports.

Chrissy Teigen, who was blocked on Twitter by President Trump, was a guest along with her husband John Legend.

They were seen in a photo with comedian Jerry Seinfeld saying he would never invite Trump to his show ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’.

Comedian Billy Eichner, a Trump critic, was also in attendance at the farewell party.

Other attendees included Nick Jonas and Chance the Rapper, both of whom posted about their political views on social media.

While telephones were not allowed in the farewell party, Bradley Cooper, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Stevie Wonder, and Jon Hamm were some of the other big names who reportedly partied at the White House that night.
