Real Housewives of Orange County Tamra Judge broke down in tears as she shared a series of text messages from her terrified daughter Sophia Barney while her high school was on lockdown Thursday.
To her mother’s horror, the teen, who is currently a high school senior, told the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 55, that they were sheltering in their place.
I wrote to the judge: “Not training.” “We’re locked in classrooms with the lights out.”
Sophia went on to inform her mother that she was “now in hiding” and “I heard the police siren” but did not know if there was a “shooter”.
After the man was arrested, the TV personality shared an emotional video with more details about what happened.

I want you to know that everything is fine and they caught the guy. But, someone came to my daughter’s school today (with a weapon),” she revealed through tears. The children are shocked. The teachers are shocked.
Judge went on to describe how the students at her daughter’s school lay on the floor past the “classroom door with bookshelves” barriers.
One of the teachers distributed hammers. She said another had a fire extinguisher ready to go to someone else.
Eddie Judge’s wife said the children were screaming that they “didn’t want to die,” and as a parent, she felt “helpless” reading Sophia’s letters.
There is nothing you can do in this kings world. I’m so sick of it I’m so sick of what’s going on. My daughter now does not want to go back to school. It’s her senior year. This has to stop,” concluded the mother-of-four.
Sharing a screenshot of the messages from her teens, Judge said these were texts “that no parent wants to have.”
Judge Sophia is engaged to ex-husband Simon Barney, whom she was married to from 1998 until 2011.
The chilling ordeal comes less than two weeks after six people were shot and killed at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee.
The shooting was the 129th mass shooting in the United States.

So far this year, there have been 13 school shootings, with a total of six children killed and four adults or staff losing their lives.
It is the deadliest school shooting in 2023 and one of only five in history in which there was a gunman.
So far this year California, Texas and Florida have had 12 mass shootings each year this year, with 11 shootings in Louisiana, and Illinois experiencing eight.
Pennsylvania has suffered seven, and Tennessee has suffered six, including the latest tragedy according to the Gun Violence Archive.
In total, 63 children have been shot and killed in the United States as a result of crime shootings this year, with 128 injured.
Authorities have identified her as a 28-year-old woman from Nashville, though it’s not currently clear how — if she is at all — connected to the school.
Law enforcement confirmed that three children and three adults were killed in the incident, as well as the shooter, who was killed by police.
The girl had two assault rifles on her during the incident, and a gun that entered the school from the side before making her way to the first floor and firing several shots.
The Nashville accident is the third deadliest accident of the year, with the same number of people killed as the Half Moon Bay accident on January 23.
