Darts fans have been outraged by “disgusting” beer prices after being forced to spend almost £10 a pint at the O2.
An image of bar fare at the London venue during Thursday night’s Darts Premier League final has gone viral on social media.
While the 14,000 spectators enjoyed some top-quality oche action with 17-year-old sensation Luke Littler lifting the trophy, they were shortchanged when it came to liquid refreshment.
The “cheapest” pint (Budweiser and Stella Artois beers, plus Camden Stout) came to £8.95 a pint.
More ‘premium’ beers cost even more, with Camden Pale Ale priced at £9.25 and Camden Hells Lager at £9.50.

The cider wasn’t any cheaper: Thatchers Gold was priced at £8.95 and Thatchers Fusion a pricey £9.25.
There was also nothing to be gained by buying in bulk, as the price of a two-pint glass was exactly double that of a pint.
Even a half pint cost £4.85 or more as thirsty darts fans were left paying through the nose.

Teenager Littler continued his stunning progress by beating Luke Humphries, who beat him in the World Championship final, 11-7 to claim his first televised title.
World number one Humphries could only watch in admiration as Littler hit an incredible nine darts en route to victory, his fourth of 2024. Littler pocketed £275,000 prize money.
Speaking to Sky Sports after winning, Littler said: ‘To all the doubters, don’t doubt me anymore! I just picked this up.
‘It’s so good to win but in front of my family and my girlfriend! I don’t know what to do.
“I’ve hit nine darts in the World Series and so has Phil (Taylor); now I’ve hit one in the finals here and so has he.”
