A group of free climbers have shared the scary moment they scaled all 927 feet of Donald Trump’s Wall Street Building 40 – one of New York’s tallest skyscrapers.
The trio including YouTuber Dying Lama Manhattan Climb participants were amazed at how easily they were able to access the roof of the tower, before attempting an extremely precarious climb to the top of the spire.
Also known as the Trump Building, but not to be confused with Trump Tower, 40 Wall Street is a totemic office space with current occupants including the Girl Scouts of Greater New York, Noble Capital, and Telstra.
After crossing the 72 floors, the daredevils were amazed to be able to climb through a trap door at the top of a spiral staircase and access the iconic green roof, made of copper covered in lead.
“It’s really crazy that this hatch is open,” one of them said before heading out into the open, “be careful when you come out here, it’s a little blurry.”
The trio, including Manhattan-bound YouTuber DyingLlama, was amazed by the ease with which they were able to ascend to the roof of 40 Wall Street, 927 feet in the air.

The daredevils parade around a ledge less than two feet wide atop the iconic building that is part of Donald Trump’s real estate empire.
The three – who wore masks to hide their identities – came out onto a section of roof that measured barely a foot wide halfway up the building’s spire.
From their vantage point, they had a stunning view of the New York skyline, with one saying, “Oh my God, holy shit,” before their stunt appeared to be interrupted by a helicopter above. above their heads.
However, after appearing to have escaped detection, whoever was filming – for the footage posted online on August 20 – decided to go even further.
“I guess it’s time to go up,” he said before climbing a ladder to the top of the skyscraper after his companion encouraged him to “be careful.”
“It’s a lot smaller here than I thought,” the climber added.
Many commenters said they couldn’t watch him reach the top, with just the antennae to hold on to after passing the end of the ladder.
“All right, let’s go down,” he announces before filming the anxiety-inducing descent.
As they walked back inside, the cameraman asked, “Why the hell aren’t there any cameras in here?”
As if that wasn’t cheeky enough, another member of the group then says, “Let’s just go through the security door,” before the film shows them walking through the building’s lobby.
The building was built in 1930 and a Trump-owned company bought the lease in 1995.
Its website boasts of its “world-class executives,” who have been contacted for comment.
The video of the climb has been viewed more than 65,000 times and DyingLlama has shared it with more than half a million subscribers.
“They give me extreme anxiety and adrenaline, almost like I’m in danger and about to see a buddy or myself fall. Fucking crazy but EPIC,” one said.

But there have been suggestions the former president could lose control of the tower, after a judge ruled in September that Trump committed fraud by lying about his wealth.
Another added: “I watch these videos every now and then just to remind myself how much I love being on the field.”
Someone else admitted the footage gave them “chills”.
And another said: “I’m not an anxious person, but this beats anything I’ve seen in this content sphere – I was pissing myself seeing how tight it was.”
This is not the first time 40 Wall Street has been climbed, with several urban explorers having previously made the climb.
