Earlier in the week, Danny began filming his explosive final scenes in EastEnders, as he prepared to jump off a cliff in an apparent death scene.
Danny said in June that his departure would be hugely dramatic and hinted that it would end with Mick’s death.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: ‘It’s huge and it’s going to upset some people. I will miss everyone, but I want to go out properly. I entered well and I want to leave well.
‘I wish I could tell you more. In the next few months she’s going to learn a little bit about what we’re going to do, but I can tell you it’s huge.’
He added: ‘I want to go out in a way that gets people talking. It’s something that needs to be discussed more openly and I think it’s going to surprise some people.”
