Danni Menzies tells us about her family’s stay in Crete.
The former A Place In The Sun presenter, 36, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a selection of photographs in celebration of her mother’s 60th birthday.
The photos included several selfies of Danni with her mum, who bears a striking resemblance to her, with many fans telling the TV presenter: “I can see where you got your gorgeous looks from.”
In another, Danni’s mother posed with a Happy Birthday sign, while in others, the presenter posed with her family, who traveled to Greece for the event.
In one snap, Danni showed off her toned figure in a pink bikini as the Menzies enjoyed a refreshing drink on the beach.

She wrote: ’60 years of my little mum. Mum really would do anything to help anyone, she is so full of kindness and love, I think we should all be a bit more like her.
‘Her birthday wish was for her babies to be here in Crete to celebrate, so here we are!
‘Grandma and Grandpa discovered this place a long time ago and my parents have been coming here for 35 years, so it feels a bit like coming home, lots of memories and lots of good relaxed vibes.
‘HB Mom, you are the best, I love you so much xx’.

Danni has been a favourite presenter of A Place In The Sun since she began co-presenting it in 2016.

However, Danni announced her departure from the show earlier this year and has opted for a shock career change.
Alongside The Health Lottery, she will front an “inspirational” podcast in which she will speak to the likes of Loose Women’s Kaye Adams.
Reflecting on her time on the show, the presenter spoke to the Daily Star about what it was like behind the scenes on A Place In The Sun, including the “strange things” that sometimes happened in the background of his shots.
She said: ‘I was doing a piece on camera in Lanzarote and I had a nudist running in the background.
‘I was filming and they said, “Wait a minute, guys, there’s something strange behind you.”
‘We had it in Spain too, we were filming and a guy came by on a bike, totally naked. There’s a lot of that, I’ve seen some exhibitionists.’
Danni added that “living out of a suitcase” took its toll on her and she found it “hard to date and do normal things.”
The star’s new podcast show will be available on all platforms, including Apple, Spotify and Amazon Music, starting May 23.
Also appearing on the podcast will be award-winning filmmaker and photographer Doug Allan, Michelin-starred chef Andy Beynon and bestselling author Chris Brookmyre.
