EXCLUSIVE
It had all the ingredients of a dream wedding: an idyllic vineyard, celebrity guests and even a snatched TV officiant.
But Channel Nine sports presenter Danika Mason has left her carefully chosen venue after calling off her wedding to gym rat fiancé Todd Liubinskas just weeks before the big day.
The Greystone Estate in NSW’s Hunter Valley – where Mason and Liubinskas were due to marry on October 27 – went live in a frantic appeal on Wednesday after the highly anticipated nuptials were suddenly cancelled.
A post on the venue’s official Instagram account read: “A rare opportunity has become available for the chance to celebrate your wedding at Greystone Estate – with 50% off!
A spokesperson for the venue confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the vineyard – which spans 10 acres at the bottom of an olive tree-lined avenue and “designed specifically to host lavish events” – had been the subject of ‘an unexpected cancellation. Sources confirmed that this was the venue chosen by the couple.
The last-minute wedding cancellation undoubtedly came as a surprise to many of the couple’s celebrity guests.
Situated on 10 acres at the end of an olive tree lined driveway, Greystone Estate is centrally located in the iconic Hunter Valley and was to be the scene of a dream wedding.

They were to include fellow sports anchors James Bracey and Clint Stanaway, as well as Liubinskas’ close friend and 440 Run Club co-founder Trent Knox.
The Sunday Footy presenter was due to marry Liubinskas, 40, but was forced to cancel five weeks of the event for reasons which have yet to be made public by the former couple.
The wedding was to be officiated by Seven News journalist and wedding celebrant Grace Fitzgibbon, the daughter of retired federal Labor MP Joel Fitzgibbon.
The couple had been engaged for two years after Liubinskas popped the question in July 2021.
Mason remained tight-lipped when approached by the Daily Mail Australia this week.
She later confirmed the news of her split in a series of public appearances without her wedding ring.
Mason hosted the Sunday Footy Show this weekend, covering the Broncos vs Warriors preliminary final. She stood to the side with her large diamond engagement ring noticeably missing from her left hand.
Another ex-girlfriend of Liubinskas – who was in a relationship with him for seven years before she started dating Mason – offered Mason a message of support.
