- Mason Greenwood is a favorite on the right side of United’s forward line
- Daniel James started the season well, but has seen his form take off

- There were suggestions that James could be loaned out next season

Daniel James is a ‘big part’ of Manchester United and will not be loaned out next season, according to his agent.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed the 22-year-old Swansea City winger for £ 15m last summer and James made an impression in his first few games for United.
But through a drop-off in form, Mason Greenwood emerged as Solskjaer’s first choice on the right side of United’s front three and made suggestions that James could send on loan.

It had been suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would loan James next season
However, Jonathan Barnett insists that James is part of Solskjaer’s plans for the rest of this season and next season as well.
He told Stretty News: “He is a big part of the Man United team. I see him playing for Man United. ‘
James scored four times this season, although his goal in United’s 5-0 win over LASK in the Europa League in March was his first since August.
The young winger has also given seven assists – but hasn’t scored a goal since December – and in-form Greenwood has overtaken him in the pecking order.

The competition can get even more intense next season if United moves to England and Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, who plays in the same position.
But Barnett believes that the Welsh international has the fighting skills needed to reclaim his place regularly.
He added, “I guess if you don’t have that character, you shouldn’t go to Man United. We as a company have a responsibility to help them and point out these things and in Dan’s case it was clear that he had that character.

“I think if you asked the people of Manchester United in general and I suppose I haven’t spoken to them, they would be very happy with his progress.
“It is quite normal with a young player that he has a little dip in his form, while the other boys have done extremely well, so he will give up and wait for his chance and if he gets it he will take it. ‘
