A grim-faced Danica Patrick revealed she was not extended an invitation to Donald Trump’s election night party at Mar-a-Lago, despite spending weeks with him on the Republican campaign trail.
Less than 24 hours earlier, the former NASCAR star was on Trump’s private jet with the man, after a long day of campaigning for him to beat Kamala Harris.
However, on Tuesday night, as Trump approached the White House, Patrick took to social media to post a sad selfie sitting on the floor, after being snubbed from the big party in Florida.
Along with two friends, she wrote: “Where was our Mar-a-Lago invitation?”, while wearing a red dress for the big occasion.
Earlier on Tuesday, he explained the crazy start to his week by traveling in Trump Force 1 with the campaign team, finishing his fourth rally of the day at 2:30 a.m. before flying back to West Palm Beach.
Danica Patrick asked where her invitation to Mar-a-Lago was while sitting on the floor in a red dress.
Just hours earlier, Patrick was sitting on Donald Trump’s private jet next to the man.
She wrote: ‘Energy brought by a proud American. Vote as if your freedom depends on it, because it does.
And while Patrick will no doubt be delighted with the direction of the election, she was apparently taken aback by her lack of invitation to the glitzy event that the likes of Elon Musk were enjoying later on.
The former president won a wave of states early Tuesday night and appeared set to retake several swing states he lost to Joe Biden in 2020, with Trump’s camp saying it was “confident” of victory.
Footage from the event showed a relaxed Trump chatting with Musk and Dana White, while guests shared a series of smiling selfies from the Mar-a-Lago ballroom.
A party atmosphere began at the Mar-a-Lago election night party as footage from the event showed a relaxed Trump chatting with Elon Musk and Dana White.
Attendees at Trump’s election night event, including RFK Jr. (center), shared smiling selfies as promising results came in from across the country.
Donald Trump’s lawyer, Alina Habba (center), appeared very animated at the event.
But while the Trump camp seemed in high spirits, Kamala Harris’ election night party reportedly went “silent” and the crowd thinned significantly as they felt the race was slipping away from them.
At the Mar-a-Lago election night party, several Trump allies and Republican Party influencers witnessed the results, and Musk also brought one of his eleven children to the event.
Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville and Trump lawyer Alina Habba have shared smiling photos from the party.
