Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister has revealed their close bond in a series of snapshots to celebrate her 39th birthday.
Singer Katia Aveiro, 46, from Madeira, took to Instagram to share her tribute to her brother, saying he is “the idol of so many” and said his life seems like a “movie.”
Sharing snaps from the past, she posed up a storm over the years with her younger brother.
The post said: “The story of your life is already a movie, a real life movie.” Who would have thought?’

Katia Aveiro, 46, took to her Instagram to share the sweet tribute to her brother on Sunday, sharing a photo of them together as children in 1991.
Sharing throwback snaps, she posed up a storm over the years with her younger brother.
She shared a photo of herself with Ronaldo at a 2017 awards ceremony in Paris.
The proud sister gushed about her brother and said she hopes he continues to be an “enlightened human being who illuminates our lives.”
It comes after she continued a staunch defense of her younger brother by co-signing a social media post that appeared to attack Lionel Messi after his Ballon d’Or win last year.
The Argentine took home a record eighth trophy at a ceremony in Paris after starring in his national team’s victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
With the win, Messi moved three times clear of his former rival, who won the last of his five Ballon d’Ors in 2017. While many praised the 36-year-old for his unprecedented feat, others claimed the award was little more than a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Katia seemed to agree with the latter when she commented on a social media post praising the Portuguese great’s exploits shortly after the ceremony.

Aveiro liked the post and commented with five applause emojis, potentially in a nod to her brother’s own account or simply to emphasize the degree to which she supported the message.
It is not the first time that the Portuguese pop singer has entered the eternal debate of modern football. Last year, he called the World Cup “the worst ever” in a dramatic social media post.
He wrote: “Worst World Cup ever,” before praising the victorious South American team and adding: “Luckily that gave us a great final.” What a match. Congratulations to Argentina.”
Aveiro had previously urged Ronaldo to leave the World Cup and return home to a place where he has “all gratitude and no ingratitude” following his relegation to the Portugal bench during the tournament.
