Talking about the moment she told her parents about the show, Dani said, “It was really hard because my mom, I said first … you know” Mommy I was approached for Love Island “and she was like” go for it ” , go for it”.
“My mom was so pushy,” why don’t you just go to Love Island, you don’t really know what you’re doing “- great confidence in my mom.
“But it was like, you know, ‘just keep going’, and I was like, ‘I don’t know how to tell my father.'”

Dani said she finally told him two weeks before she flew to the show that it was “very, very clumsy at home.”
“He wasn’t excited about it,” she admitted. “He didn’t really understand the concept and I was so happy when they won a BAFTA because I was like … see Dad, it’s a really cool program.
“But my mom and dad didn’t really get along. They didn’t actually tell me that. Because when I got in there, they were clearly so concerned. ‘

Now that Danny Mick Carter played on EastEnders, Danny’s pioneering role was as Moff in Human Traffic, with other notable roles as Billy the Limpet in Mean Machine and as Tommy Johnson in The Football Factory.
Dani said, “Imagine going on a date with a guy and they keep talking about your dad, you’d be like … what?
Happy again: Luckily for Dani, she’s not on the dating scene and celebrated her one-year anniversary with her upcoming boyfriend Sammy Kimmence on Sunday
“I feel like they’re acting like my dad … they don’t know my dad, my dad isn’t the character he put down, so when they try to feel like they know him, I think,” them, you “don’t know him” let’s go now. You know, we’ll split the bill. “
Luckily for Dani, she’s not on the dating scene and celebrated her one-year anniversary with her upcoming boyfriend Sammy Kimmence on Sunday.
The pair posed for sweet Instagram snaps to celebrate the milestone.
The couple showed no signs of their recent relationship issues when they leaned on lounge chairs and enjoyed their cider.
Earlier this month, Sammy called the Love Island star “my rock,” weeks after they were reunited after their brief split.
