In the segment, Ken revealed that the question was: “In this 2017 movie, Dante is a hairless breed known as a Xolo dog.”
He wished the contestants luck and began the 30-second countdown before the contestants’ guesses were revealed.
Lee Wilkin, Alabama’s regulatory affairs coordinator, who was in third place, incorrectly guessed: “What is the Chinese Crested?”
Daniel Rosenberg, a New York City lawyer, had initially guessed Zootopia but then crossed it out in favor of Superpets, neither of which was correct.
Lastly, Lucas Partridge, who works as a school counselor in Nevada, responded, ‘What is Luca?’
Ken explained where they went wrong: “The Xolo dog is the national dog of Mexico. The Xoloitzcuintle.
‘What is Coco? The movie we’re looking for.’
In the popular Disney Pixar animated film, the Xoloitzcuintle stray dog named Dante, became the spirit animal of the main character Miguel in the land of the dead.
