Bec Hewitt is sparking rumors she’s returning to Home and Away as she admits she would ‘love to do another acting job’ following her TV comeback on Dancing with the Stars

She played Hayley Smith Lawson on Home and Away from 1998 to 2005.

And 16 years after she left Summer Bay and retired from acting, Bec Hewitt has revealed she wants to return to her old profession.

The mother of three, 37, who stepped out of the spotlight after marrying tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, said The Daily Telegraph: “I would like to do another acting job.”

“I like to work with creative people, so we’ll see what happens,” she added.

Ever since she left Home and Away at the height of her fame, Bec has focused on raising her and Lleyton’s three children, Mia, Cruz and Ava.

While family was her priority, she’s had occasional TV roles over the years, such as hosting Seven travel show Helloworld.

She recently returned to the small screen on Dancing with the Stars, finishing second to Luke Jacobz in Sunday night’s finale.

Bec narrowly missed the win after putting on an impressive performance with her dance partner Craig Monley.

However, it wasn’t enough to overthrow Luke’s dazzling routine with Jorja Freeman.

Bec had previously won the glitterball trophy with Michael Miziner in 2004, when she was still on Home and Away and known as Bec Cartwright.

Dancing with the Stars was Sunday night’s most watched non-news program with 802,000 metro viewers.

This figure rose to 827,000 for the announcement of the winner, reports Media week.
