Dancing On Ice's Ryan Thomas falls TWICE as fans claim he's 'over-marked' after getting almost identical score to a blunder-free Lou Sanders

Ryan Thomas was left red-faced after falling twice during his performance on Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

The actor, 39, took to the ice with his professional partner Amani Fancy, 26, to skate to the song Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat from Guys & Dolls during Musicals Week.

But he suffered some mishaps when he fell face-first onto the ice before getting back up only to land back on the runway moments later on his butt.

Despite his falls, former Coronation Street star Ryan received a score of 5.5 from guest judge Johnny Weir, and scores of 6.5 from Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill and Oti Mabuse.

This left viewers unimpressed, as comedian Lou Sanders received almost the same score minutes earlier despite remaining on her feet throughout her routine.

Then Ryan fell twice and Oti and Jayne still scored the same as Lou. It just goes to show that Lou is being put down week after week.

How could Ryan get close enough to the same score as Lou if she didn’t fall and he did twice?

So they gave Ryan a 6.5 who fell TWICE, but they gave the same to Lou who didn’t?! Make it make sense.

I missed Lou’s routine but I saw the scores, did she fall twice too? I’m surprised by Ryan’s 6.5 with two falls and the same for Lou?

Oh darling. Ryan is the first to fall twice in a live show in the same routine. And yet, the judges still score 6.5. Total ridiculousness. Johnny Weir is the only one who seems to understand the rules and how to create a routine. Let’s keep him and Bin Banjo forever.

Ryan got overmarked, fell twice and still got a 6.5, huh?

Ryan still got 6.5 but fell twice? as?

Oh no Ryan gutted about going down twice, he’s been so good so far.

My heart breaks for Ryan! It was an amazing skate to the falls. But as someone who used to skate, he got up and that’s what matters.

He got back up, that’s all that matters.

I think Ryan took the lyrics too literally. Sit down, you’re rocking the boat.
