It comes as Dancing On Ice fans were left furious after criticizing an “unfair” rule change during Sunday’s show.
The glitzy ITV show returned to screens for its second episode, with five more celebrities taking to the rink with their skating partners for the first time, after the first six made their debut last week.
While it was confirmed that one couple would be eliminated from the competition at the end of the show, some viewers were upset to learn that there would be no skating.
In previous series, after a public vote, the two couples with the fewest votes faced each other in the skate-off and the judges chose which couple would be sent home.
However, hosts Holly and Stephen Mulhern confirmed that there would be no skating this week and that the couple with the fewest votes would be immediately sent home.
It was a move described as “unfair” and some viewers claimed that some couples deserve the chance to prove themselves with another performance.
