He is currently on the second of six initial chemotherapy treatments. Once those are complete, he will have to undergo surgery, radiation and 11 more rounds of chemotherapy.

Kelly recalled breaking the heartbreaking news to her children, daughters Brooke, 26, and Paige, 23, and son Josh, 24, whom she shares with ex-husband Randy Hyland.

The star is helping her daughter Brooke plan her wedding and won’t let her diagnosis get in her way.

“Planning the wedding is going to be a huge distraction; I plan to help with every detail to make sure it turns out to be the wedding of your dreams,” Kelly said.
