Dana White predicts that Tyron Woodley will knock out Jake Paul in the August showdown – despite making a wrong prediction in the YouTube star’s latest fight with Ben Askren – although he admits the UFC fighter is “not the same f ****** man is who he was four years ago’
- Tyron Woodley will soon face Jake Paul in a professional boxing match
- The UFC fighter takes on the YouTube star – undefeated in boxing – on August 28
- Dana White predicts 39-year-old Woodley will knock out Paul later this summer
- But the UFC supremo incorrectly predicted that Paul would lose to Ben Askren in April
Dana White has predicted that Tyron Woodley will take out YouTuber Jake Paul in their fight on August 28, but warns that the UFC star is “not the same f****** man he was four years ago.”
MMA competitor Woodley, 39, will be the next figure to try to stop YouTube star Paul’s undefeated start in the boxing world, after the 24-year-old defeated British streaming star AnEnson Gib and American sports icons Nate Robinson and Ben Askren.
Woodley held the UFC Welterweight Championship for two and a half years between 2016 and 2019, but lost his last four MMA outings.

While UFC supremo White predicts the veteran should win later this summer, he gave Paul some hope.
White told Mike Swick’s podcast: ‘Tell me – when’s the last time you saw Woodley look like Woodley? (But) I should go by knockout with Woodley.
“Listen, dude. Woodley should take him out. But again, the Tyron Woodley you’re talking about, who was the champion, isn’t the same bastard he was four years ago.”
UFC President White got it wrong when he last predicted a fight with Jake Paul, “betting a million dollars” that the YouTube star would lose to Askren in April this year.
Woodley (top) is a former UFC welterweight champion but has lost his last four MMA outings.
White told HotBoxin’ by Mike Tyson podcast prior to the Paul-Askren competition: ‘Let’s face it. Jake Paul is not a boxer. This guy is a *** YouTube boy.
“So you’re saying he can fight? So the boy he’s going to fight with, Askren, is a wrestler. A really good, decorated wrestler. But he really fought with real guys. He has been world champion in organizations other than MMA.
“I bet a million dollars he (Paul) loses this damn fight.”

Paul responded to White’s claims by not only doubling down on the bet, but also challenging the UFC supremo to a fight in the ring itself.
The YouTuber defeated Askren via a first-round technical knockout in April in Atlanta.
In an Instagram video from March, Paul said, ‘Dana, let’s double the bet! $2 million. Total $4 million. The winner gets everything.
“My team will be in touch to conclude a contract. After I take out Ben, we can set up Jake Paul Vs. Dana White 2021 because you consider yourself a “Boxer” and I a “YouTuber”‘
