UFC President Dana White guarantees YouTube boxer Jake Paul Anderson won’t call Silva for his next fight as the pair continue their war of words.

Paul is on the hunt for his next opponent after going 4-0 as a professional with a split decision victory over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in his most challenging appearance yet.

Silva, who shocked the boxing world with a highly unexpected split decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in June, continued his impressive stride in the sport with a first round knockout win over Tito Ortiz last weekend.

But White, who is embroiled in a long-standing feud with Paul, insists “The Problem Child” will steer clear of the UFC legend.

“I guarantee this, you won’t see Jake Paul Anderson call out Silva,” White said after Tuesday’s Contender Series event.

‘I promise. He’s his mate and he’s actually good. He’s old, and that’s what Jake Paul likes, to fight old guys who are too small and who are absolutely positive washed up.”

Silva fought on the undercard as Evander Holyfield lost to Vitor Belfort in the first round in his comeback fight – a fight that has attracted much criticism – while David Haye called Tyson Fury after a points win over friend Joe Fournier.

White was deeply impressed by Silva on his second appearance since dedicating himself to boxing, questioning whether the 46-year-old is the greatest martial arts athlete of all time.

“Anderson Silva, we really need to start talking about this guy as the GOAT again,” he said. ‘Not Tito’ [Ortiz]because he knocked out Tito in 40 f****** seconds. But he did to Tito exactly what had to be done to Tito.’

He continued: ‘At 46 he left this sport [UFC]which he was considered arguably the greatest of all time.

He goes out, beats Chavez Jr in a boxing match and knocks out Tito in 40 seconds. You know what I think of Tito, he can’t box… but Tito had a good chin, he took big shots from a lot of guys hitting hard.

Anderson Silva knocked him out for 40 seconds. Anderson Silva is arguably the GOAT of martial arts.”

However, Paul has maintained that his goal now is to fight a ‘real fighter’, with a match-up against Tyson’s brother Tommy Fury looking more likely.

Fury triumphed against Anthony Taylor on the undercard of Paul’s win over Woodley, although his performance was less than impressive.

The pair had a vocal exchange after their respective bouts, with Paul now revealing that Fury is at the top of his list.

“I think it’s moving towards bigger and better things,” Paul said in the Full Send Podcast. “I want to fight against a real boxer. We’ll see what the cards have in store.”

He continued: “I think Tommy Fury is probably the top of that list. He’s skilled, he’s undefeated and he’s a real boxer.

“He has about 4 million followers on Instagram, which is a good engagement. He has fans just like his relationship show (Love Island).’

Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has confirmed talks are underway between the two sides, although negotiations are still in their infancy.
