Dan Crenshaw and Tom Cotton urge military ‘whistleblowers’ to report ‘awakened’ training programs

Rep. Dan Crenshaw and Senator Tom Cotton have launched a new initiative to prevent “awakened ideology” from gaining the upper hand in the US military.

Republican politicians announced their concerted effort on Saturday, sharing a ‘whistleblower form’ for military members to be completed if they encounter far-left training materials.

Crenshaw wrote on Twitter on Saturday: ‘Enough is enough. We will not drop our military to shake up ideology. We have just launched a whistleblower web page where you can submit your story. Your complaint is legally protected and goes to my office and @SenTomCotton ‘.

He shared a link to the whistleblower form, adding, ‘For too long, progressive Pentagon staffers have been in control for our war fighters, and weak military commanders have made it happen. Now we are going to expose you. ‘

The campaign comes just two weeks after ex-Space Force Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier, claimed the Pentagon sent a video to the military saying “whites are inherently bad.”

Lohmeier was recently removed from his plum post after screwing up diversity and inclusion training in the military as “ critical race theory rooted in Marxism. ”

Crenshaw – a former Navy Seal who lost an eye in the battle in Afghanistan – condemned Lohmeier’s removal, stating at the time, “ We must prepare our warriors to fight and win battles, not how we (social justice fighters) are to be. ‘.

Lohmeier was deposed after coming on one conservative podcast to promote a self-published book entitled ‘Irreversible Damage: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the American Military’.

During the podcast, he stated, “ Ever since I took over as commander about 10 months ago, I’ve seen what I consider fundamentally incompatible and conflicting stories about what America was, is, and should be.

Not only was that productive on social media or across the country over the past year, but it also spread through the U.S. military. And I had recognized those stories as Marxist in nature. ‘

Lohmeier later told The Washington Times, “ What you see happening in the U.S. military right now is that if you’re a conservative you’re lumped into a group of people labeled as extremists, if you’re willing to to speak your visions.

“And if you’re aligned with links, then it’s okay to be an activist online because no one is going to hold you accountable.”

He also appeared on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show, where he claimed controversial videos were ‘sent to all bases’ [and] servicemember ‘who was asked’ to watch [them] in preparation for … discussions about race. ‘

Lohmeier claimed the videos “taught that the country was bad, that it was founded in 1619 and not 1776, and that whites are inherently bad.”

He has not disclosed the name of the video.

In addition to Crenshaw and Cotton, other Republican politicians have also voiced alarm about left-wing activism in the military.

Last week, Alabama Rep. Mike Rogers issued a statement that read: “ The United States armed forces should be focused on preparing for and winning battles against the threats from China and other foreign opponents and not imposing political beliefs on those who choose it. to serve in uniform. ‘

And earlier this month, Senator Ted Cruz shot the U.S. military into the air after it released an “ awakened ” recruiting video detailing Cpl. Emma Malonelord, a serving soldier who describes how she came to choose a life in the military.

The colorful, animated recruiting clip describes how she defended freedom attending LGBTQ marches and grew up to join the US military.

“People are signing up to join the military because they want to keep us safe, they don’t want to sit in a circle and pass daisies back and forth,” Cruz said.

He later compared the US Army recruiting video to a video from Russia, which showed soldiers jumping from planes and firing weapons into battle.

Cruz said the US military was the best in the world, but “awakened media are trying to turn it into violets.”

Fox News pundit Tucker Carlson has also claimed the military has been overtaken by “awakened” political activists.

After the Pentagon unveiled its new ‘diversity and inclusion plan’ published by the Special Operations Command in March, Carlson lashed out, claiming it was proof that the military was concerned with gender, race and sexuality.

If you’re wondering if our military leadership has woken up, consider that question forever. The Pentagon is now Yale’s faculty lounge, but with cruise missiles, ”Carlson said sharply.

He suggested that the strategic plan would likely prioritize women, people of color, and people from the LGBTQ community, even if they weren’t the most qualified.

All we know about that plan is that it will result in a dramatic lowering of the standards within our elite ranks. It probably already has. How will that make America safer? The generals never said it. ‘

Carlson too scolded recently updated guidelines for maternity flight suits and allowable hairstyles.

So we have new hairstyles and maternity fly suits. Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. It’s a mockery of the US military, ”Carlson said.

While China’s military is getting more masculine for having amassed the largest navy in the world, our military, as Joe Biden says, needs to become more feminine, whatever feminine meaning, as men and women no longer exist … Again “This is a mockery of the US military and its nuclear mission of winning wars,” he declared.
